Grape Agate

This is a wonderfully purple and green bi-colored piece of grape agate that is just over 2" long and is 2.25 oz. It's shown on a standard business card so you can get a better sense of the size.

Grape agate is a type of purple chalcedony that has been recently discovered in one place in Indonesia, therefore it is currently considered rare and valuable. Many of the lighter purple ones you see on the market are dyed. This one is a nice, deep purple, and has good amounts of green, which makes it even rarer. This is a beautiful piece! The last picture shows this one with the other grape agate we have listed so you can see the size difference (this one is the one on the left).
